Importance of a positive mental attitude during pregnancy

Pregnancy makes one believe in blind love. The one that makes you fall in love with your unborn child. Every single day, every phase, every heartbeat, every doctor visit and every kick is a new experience. While pregnancy does gift us with the imaginable gestures of giving birth to a new life, it does take the mental attitude of some women on a toll.

This mental attitude is generally supported by the unwanted negative environment, societal pressure, family conditions and further variable additions.

It has been scientifically proven that an unborn child absorbs the energies, whether positive or negative, from the environment & attitudes outside the womb and therefore it becomes equally essential for the mother to stay calm, happy and most importantly, have a positive mental attitude.

For a healthy pregnancy and a healthy child, you must: 1. Surround yourself with positivity and avoid overthinking & negative thoughts. A positive woman must spend time eating well, exercising well, sleeping well and developing an everlasting bond with the little one in the womb. 2. Build stronger relationships with family and friends. A pregnant woman must be surrounded with love to pass on the fondness to the growing child. Share your views and involve them in the phases of your pregnancy so that they can love you and your child unconditionally. 3. Educate yourself around the learnings of pregnancy. It’s never too late, begin at any possible phase. Pregnancy is even more beautiful when are deeply aware of it. Learn how to stay fit, learn what is good for your child, learn what is good for you. Read through books & articles and attend forums. 4. Plan your expenses. Do not overthink, do the best for your child. God has a plan for everything, and you must believe in it. An addition to the family does add to the expenses, but it also does add to a lot of happiness, love and affection.

A pregnant woman’s mental peace greatly depends on her, but also her surroundings. Make this world, a happier place for her and the one to come.
